GOAL/OBJECTIVE
•Bringing the sky down to us
•Living in an urban environment, such as New York, we lose sight of the sky. This project is meant as a simple reminder to look up.
•We get so absorbed in our everyday lives that we tend to have tunnel vision. We explore very little of our environment, so my project is opening up our perception of our everyday-stationary environment.

DESIGN
•Urban representation of constellations
•The sculptures will be of familiar constellations, so that the viewer will be able to identify it right away
•The sculptures will be integrated into the cityscape (such as scaffoldings, street signs, fences, etc.)

MATERIALS
•Brass tubing
•Galvanized silver wire
•Single white battery operated LEDs
